About.
Developer.
Builder.
Serial “what if” asker.
I’m Joakim. Jochen is my slightly more experimental alter ego.

I like building things.
Some become products. Some become experiments. Some probably should have stayed ideas. But that’s part of the fun.
I’m an independent developer who enjoys turning ideas into things that work. That can mean a software project, a useful little tool, a game or a side project built simply because it seems fun to try. I’m also a bit of a Linux fanboy — there’s usually a terminal open somewhere.
It doesn’t always stay on a screen, either. I also enjoy 3D printing and taking an idea from a digital model to something I can actually hold. Whether I’m writing code or trying out a new print, I like figuring things out by making them.
JochenLabs brings those interests together: software, playful experiments, 3D-printed creations and whatever project catches my curiosity next. Some solve a problem. Others are a chance to learn something new or just enjoy the process.
I build because solving a problem is satisfying. And because sometimes, “I wonder if I could…” is reason enough.
